September 2019

Energy supply and consumption will continue to drive growth in the societies. At the same time emissions issues compel us to diversify into non-fossil fuel supplies. Obviously, our primary energy mix for the next decades will consist of a wide range of energy types in meeting our needs for power generation and transportation. The concern of the future sources of supply, their costs and prices, security of supply, affordability, commodity hedging and their impacts on global climate through emissions are the reasons for an understanding of the energy value chain (EVC) for those working in the energy sector today.
